Some seals

Went to the Lincolnshire coastline today to do some shots of the seals there. Wasn't brilliant as we got sent off the bombing range due to live munitions having been exposed by the tides, but I got some fair shots.

EXIFs should be retained in them all. 70-200 2.8 L IS w. 2x Extender on my 350D and a borrowed 40D.

I don't think you can say fairer then that, they are the most photogenic creatures and your pics are great.

They're all technically fine, but I think, maybe except for the last one, they're cropped too tight. Some background would be good.

I am, of course asking for trouble here. I'm off to Donna Nook in a couple of week's time. So we'll see

Yeah, they are cropped pretty tight. These shots were taken right up close to the path along the top of the beach and the backgrounds there aren't exactly inspired - muddy water, dead grass etc. It would be very different if I'd been able to get out onto the beach to get some shots of the pups there.
