Some sites are slower than usual "Resolving Host"

Hi all

I have noticed some sites today are slower resolving than others including TP???

I have rechecked the DNS Primary & Secondary on my router and picked my ISP's other pair but has not helped!

Anyone else seen such a slowness?

FWIW if somehow ISP related I am with PlusNet on ADSL
NB though nothing on their community forum about the 'issue'

No, all running fine here

Could be some kind of major DDOS attack on another part of the internet causing a general slowdown.
But I haven't noticed much myself, although I do use VPNs which can protect to some degree and my DNS servers are all behind cloudflare so that may help a bit.

I use cloudflare DNS as opposed to ISP's own. Sometimes this makes quite a difference, and bare minimum the ISP doesn't get as much data from me to sell on.
