With the advent of mp3 players and flash memory devices I'd guess it's pretty much obsolete. That doesn't mean it's useless of course, but perhaps not worth as much as you would have hoped.

I was thinking with the netbooks in fashion now would this be of any use but I doubt it as memory sticks are now of a much higher capacity.
