Went to Pc world at lunch to look at monitors and spotted an EOS40D for £465 including the 17-85 IS lens!! Bargain I thought but didn't have time to investigate further.
Anyway rang back later and asked about it and turns out it's the last one and it's been reduced further to 449.97!!
So naturally I shot down after work to buy it!!
But.... When I get there, not only is the camera the display model and a bit battered to say the least, when they try to get it working it won't fire up!
On the plus side I picked up a nice monitor so I can have a dual display!
