hi

anyone in Glasgow area, East Kilbride, Hamilton, Larkhall

with a mac, so i can format a mac external HDD to a FAT system

Just download the parted magic CD which is free, burn it and boot your PC from it. It is a great toolkit to have anyway in case of any issues. With that you can format, read any disk in any format.

i'll need to be careful as i'm not too skilled

anyway i have Nero....:)

so..........i download/ burn image/ and boot from the CD

and then i can see the Drive E [the external HDD]

and then use it to format the HDD in FAT32

back to boot from Windows and reformat in NTFS.....................??
