I have a trip next week to see an old friend in Swansea and thought I'd stay over a couple of days. Can anyone recommend some scenic areas (inland or sea) for photography in South Wales? I know North Wales but only had brief day trips with work to the South. Also any recommendations of a nice pub which does B&B would be helpful.
 
3 cliffs bay, the bay between there and oxwich and oxwich bay. Good restaurant at the end of oxwich bay and great long beach with views. Rhossili is worth a trip also. Again a good cafe at the top by the parking.

Head up Glyn Neath if you like waterfalls, can't recommend a B&B because I have family down there but the local pubs are great!

Thanks guys. Unfortunately our visit was a couple of weeks back but I shall be returning so the tips you have given will be really useful.
