looks a really good location.
image though, um, its not doing anything for me and i presume you havent touched it with any pp.
A low angle would have made it a bit more interesting, were you standing up or on your knee?
Im not a "dont break rule of 9s" but if the centre subject was off, slightly so it wasnt so central.
Maybe re-visit the location, get to the left of the centre subject, shoot through the two bits of wood at the ships in the background, might make for something interesting too.
Im quite jealous youve got that location at hand, myself, being in shropshire, the sea is a fair bit away lol

For me I'm thinking that the wooden thing in the middle of the pic is a distraction ... I'm looking beyond to the 'tall ships' and wishing the pic was more of them
