Sparrowhawk, Edinburgh - Warning prey visible.

Taken in my back garden a couple of weeks ago.

Hardly ever post so please be gentle. I was amazed and well chuffed to have such a creature in my garden.

I would have been too, well captured - amazing how wildlife flourishes in major cities.

(You might want to do an advanced edit and put a warning in the title as some people don't like to view these prey situations).

Lovely shot and with a 200mm lens too- just goes to show we dont all need massive macho lenses to get good results
