The second picture refuses to load for me.

Anyway the one i can see is so much sharper than your early efforts. Perseverance has paid off

Two good posts there Marik ... well done and the TC doesn't seem too bad ...

First - can't see the bird for the wood ... nice crisp shot of the male but a lot of your subject is hidden by the buddleia ...

Second - again a good crisp shot this time of the female ... the felt roofing rather spoils it ... perhaps cropping a bit more of it out together with some of the empty sky in the frame ...

Just my first impressions ... that said these are a mariked ( ) improvement on your previous shots ... keep it up ...
