Speedlight for the D3200

As in the title Im looking for a cheap speedlight for my little D3200 as hate the harsh light from the built in flash. Is there any kind of compatability issues with theD3200 being an entry level DLSR ??

I have a number of Yonguo flashes albeit for Canon but they are available for Nikon too. They're available at reasonable prices on Amazon & the dreaded eBay.
