As compositions go, image 1 is better and the people add to it.

its a pano ...they both are and i dont like the results
i have lightroom to do all sorts of adjustments but it wont bring this hall right

its in the stitching i know...i may do them again in photoshop merge

Could you not just take it as one image stood further back and crop out what you don't want?

Its got to be easier than this and unless you want a very big file, why do it is my take on it.

You could always claim the building curves like that.

Nice shots I prefer the first with the little extra room round the hall.

i took one some time ago on a 4/3 sensor camera with a 17.5 lens and it wasnt so bad
i think on these i tilted the camera a bit too much

To get rid of the Distortion your have to try and go back a bit if you can and if you zoom in or use a Prime like 35,50mm it will hold the Lines! I have Problems with my 16-85mm too. Nice set of image Like the second one best !

i think you have hit the nail on the head....i have been to easily led to taking shots at wide angle...i will do a few pano's at different settings to see the best for avoiding too much distortion..
