Spider Holster ??

It looks quite interesting, but my first thoughts are that if you have a non-pro body with a grip, if you hang a heavy lens and large flash off of that "spider plate", all the weight is on the screw that attaches the grip to the body...

I'm also not sure how comfy that will be bouncing around on your leg for any length of time and also exactly how large a lens would be workable - actually, i do know, you'd be nuts to try a 300 2.8 or bigger!

here are more Videos http://www.spiderholster.com/ ... they claim that the 2 levels security pin and plate system is perfect and it can take almost everything ... i am really tempted , but is it wise to through a £100 on something like that ... !!!

David Beckstead who is a US based wedding tog has been trialling it and loves it.

Last I looked (three weeks ago) you could only have one camera on it and I really need one on each side so I have both of them on me.

I have to admit it is very tempting to try because it's based around the waist rather than the shoulder holster type which don't tend to suit us ladies too well.
