Spider on a Blue Wall

Found this guy (or gal?) on our living room wall. We seem to be infested with bloody great big spiders at the moment...

C&C is more than welcome - and any tips on lighting to remove the shadows would be much appreciated. Used D60, 55-200 lens plus Raynox 250 and SB-600 flash mounted on the camera. Assuming I would need to take the flash off camera to sort out the shadows?
