Added a gradient layer in Photoshop,selected transparent rainbow,style to angle,and set the angle to 45,then overlay blend

pin a length of string with a torch on,to the ceiling,set camera on tripod as low as it will go,bulb mode if you have it,ISO 200 and f/16 ish (needs a test shot you might need to go up the numbers a bit) switch the torch on,draw the curtains,switch the light off,and away you go,swing the torch and take a shot
I'd better add I did get the idea from a magazine

It's something I've been meaning to try myself, but never quite got around to. You've just prompted me to put it back on my list of things to do.

Very nice, like the rainbow colour, some very nice shapes, far better than anything ive ever managed with this technique

Read the same mag...had a go...didn't come out like yours...more practice needed :shake:

I wasn't sure about the vertical (I assume the end of the spin) in the centre but now I like it...give it a kind of finale.

Great colours as well.
