I am fairly confident that this is a Spotted Flycatcher, if someone knows different please speak up.

Just add this one ... it may have spotted a fly

Thanks for the confirmation, it was amongst a large flock of small birds, including a number of juvenile Whitethroat.

Last time I got any chance of a shot at one it was miles away.

There were a couple of birds flitting out into the open on this branch, when I took the shot I thought I had snapped a young Whitethroat, too busy concentrating on finding it, framing it, focusing it, checking settings in viewfinder and releasing the shutter in the split second it was there.

Only when I got around to processing it did I realise it was not a Whitethroat.
