Hey all, I've got yet another wee problem lol. My Spyder pro 3 isn't playing ball.

SanityCheckLUT FAILED 97, 127.5, 62.5" error comes up every time I try to calibrate anything on this laptop. I've set all back to defaults as described and tried to calibrate an external monitor as well which is displayed via HDMI. When checking and just before I get this message it goes to about 70% of the way and then the screen tints like a yellow/green then fail comes up, this happens on both the laptop screen and external monitor.

Anyone got any idea what's going on?

P.S
Windows 8.1]
i7 CPU
16BG Ram
Nvidia GTX 675M

Update: Tried it on 2 other computers, came up the same, I'm putting it down to a faulty sensor. Would anyone else agree?

Have you download the latest software from the datacolour site?

If that does not work worth contacting them to see what they say.

Indeed I have mate and submitted a ticket to their support, they gave me two options, it's my video cart not allowing it to update the LUT table or the sensor is buggered. Tried two different computers and on my own laptop I got it calibrated 8 months ago by a friends spyder pro 3 and nothing went wrong then and nothing has changed except windows 8.1 instead of 8. The other computer is running Windows's 7 pro.

In that case looks like you need a new calibrator, unless you could borrow your mates.

If you decide to get another one there was a thread about which ones with win 8, check it out first.

I had exactly the same thing with an i1 Display 2. I had to throw it away in the end because the gelatin filters inside it had faded (causing weird tints on the monitor and the device refusing to calibrate). Does the Spyder 3 Pro have gelatin filters inside?
