St George's Day Parade and Service at Derby

I went to Derby today to photograph the St Georges Parade. The weather stayed really nice and was rather warm. The parade consited of the Scouts from around the Derby area, the Derby Midshipmen Band and also the appearance of The Lord Lieutenant of Derbyshire. It was a great turn out with the parade ending at the Derby Cathedral for the end ceremony.

All taken with the 5d , 24-70L and some with the 70-200F4.

Nice set of pics there my friend, would have preffered some colour as I love the red and white of our country! I especially like no.4 nice shiny trumpet!

Nice set of images. Particularly like the 1st one such a poignant shot. The drummers and the sax player are also my favourites like the looks of concentration. Such sharp, clear images. Good days work
