Anyone use them

Want to go from a 67mm lens to a 77mm ND filter (10stop) - are there any drawbacks and what is the best one to get:shrug::shrug:

Would really appreciate any guidance :)

Rob

Used them in the past.
No draw backs really because your filter is still wider than your lens element so unless the ring plus filter are uber thick or its an extreme wide angle lens, then I can't see any problems.

I used a cheap £3 job off ebay and it worked fine.

Beauty - thanks Stupar :)

They can be a pain if you use a hood. I have a 77 to 82 step up and it has to be fitted after fitting the hood and is very fiddley to screw on and if it sticks you will have problems trying to get it off. In a lot of cases they are just not practical to use with a hood.
