Just a few from this morning's first go at Macro with the wee Canon G5X mkII. Cloth over the table in the conservatory, no other lighting. Shot in manual with a tripod and RAW used. I didn't use the very small flash on the camera - did I miss a trick? I would be interested to hear about composition as well as processing.

The first is an Elvis Stink Bug (or something!)

Finally, a small ensemble of stuff from the shelves. Yes the bottle is empty.

They all look interesting to me. I think No.3 works best but I might have tried to tame the cloth colour a bit in 2 and 3. I think the lighter bands behind the beetle care a bit distracting in 1. All in all, good compositions and captures though. Well done :D
