I think the hands look a little strange - otherwise first class.

Whose hands are they? The answer to this question worries me. I would have been prepared to swap the top of her head for the hands. I do like the eyes.

I think the crop on the first one should be closer and get rid of the hands so that it is just her face

I liked the first one more but agree about the hands.

The second one just don't quite have the same magical eye contact.

But all the same a very beautiful shot.

Just cropped, and I upped the saturation on the eyes a little.

I did consider cropping a little lower, to get the eyes in the upper 1/3 of the frame.
