Thanks for commenting.............I don't particularly like them........but they don't really bother me even though there are lots of them about at the moment.

Never been stung before in my life, lived in Australia for 2 years and avoided attack from insects, deadly sea creatures, snakes etc...moved to Edinburgh and was stung by one of these evil monsters two weeks ago!
Nice photo though!! Superb detail.
