Hi, just wondering what peoples opinions are towrds backdrops, i have just purchased a cloth one and initial views is that i prefered the paper one that i used at college, so just wondering what your views are?

thanks

paper for me... always just seemed easier, if it gets dirty, i just rip a piece off and pull down another metre or so :)

I have a cloth backdrop and a Hilite.

Benefits of cloth is it's so much more portable than paper, but the creases are a nightmare!

Depends on how portable you want it to be. Cloth can be washed paper cannot. Paper will eventually get used up cloth wont. Paper on a roll is clumbersome to move cloth can be screwed up into a small bag.Paper is quite expensive to buy cloth is very cheap.

yeah have totally got sidetracked and started looking at the lastlite hilite range, like the idea of this being more portable and and without the worry of ironing cloth or replacing paper.

Rudesing how do you find your hilite?
