I was wondering if anyone knew of any studio tuition courses (preferably 1 day maximum, but half day or a few hours might do it) in Birmingham, or anywhere else in the West Midlands? 
I dont have a huge budget... the cheaper the better!!
I know the basic principles, after reading loads about it, but up to now my photography has been either without flash, or using flashguns/speedlights in the strobist method, so would really like to get a little hands on experience in a studio before I go hiring one.
I realise some studios offer tuition when you hire them, and this may well be suitable, as I do understand the principles of lighting. I suppose one of my main concerns is triggering the studio flash with my Alpha 350, because of its non standard hotshoe and the fact you cant turn of the pre-flash. :bonk:
Anyone know of any courses or anyone want to let me use their studio with a little tuition?? :shrug:
