Having recently got a camera. I took a few pics after the Frankie Boyle gig.
Took a couple of shots of the STV building from the opposite bank. The river was smooth so go the reflection as well.
Comments welcome. As I'm very new to taking photos.
Cheers. Andy.

Good shots - exposure and colour looking good to me.

You seem unsure of how to crop this one though.

For me....
#1 too "far away" - subject too central
#2 better, subject too central
#3 not straight - not enough room above the building.

the arrow seems quite prominent - so will draw viewers gaze left to right, so I'd have more space to the right of the building. So pop the building on a third. Remove the distracting orange light to the left, and finish with the row or orange lights on the right.

Its all about the reflection here - to I would have equal space above and below the building.

Applying that logic gave me this.... a crop from your first.

It's really hard to think these things through when you're stood out in the cold, so better to shoot wide and crop later, than shoot too tight and be stuck with it.

Hi Graham. Thanks very much for your thoughts on my shots.
And cheers for the edit to show me what you meant.
Will try and take this on board when I'm out and about next time.

I love the blue reflection on the water, for me it's image number 2 I like the best. Calmest I have seen the Clyde in a while.
