Sunday's test shot's 2xtc on the 600mm

Well with the spring like days we've just received, I had to try the 2xtc on the 600 so I can be ready for the reserves in april.
iI can be happy with any shot I do if they all are as sharp as these at 1200mm.

all are f/f apart from edge cropping for composition.

Love the tone of the first one, with the all-over monotone broken by the red eye.

All absolutely fantastic Jason, but I agree with the above #1 really stands out for its beautiful soft tones and that sharp beady eye breaking through the subtly of it all.
Excellent stuff!

Absolutely nothing wrong with those Jason. A t/c on an average lens result in an overall poor lens but on a good piece of glass, then they're fine.

first quarter moon tonight and we have cloud but as soon as thins clear up ill take some pics.

yes i agree and my test on orion has made me very happy to see such clear images.
