I agree. Also the great sky adds to the contrast of colours

Great contrast of colours, but I feel the composition is not quite right, my eyes slide down the top edge of the rape and go nowhere and the diagonal dividing line is driving me back in the opposite direction - hope I'm making myself plain.

Very nice mate, I have a shot close to my house which I am dieing to get to...looks perhaps similar to this, but its on the edge of a motorway :bang:

Nice shot, great composition, may possibly be a little heavy handed with the contrast on the green's, but could just be my monitor and tired eyes though.
Cracking shot though, would make great desktop wallpaper.

Thanks for the comments guys. I was looking for a balanced asymmetrical composition here that had strong geometry and colour. So, splitting the foreground in that way seemed to be an answer, but not necessarily THE answer .
