This was taken last weekend at a shoot, something a bit different and feels like you are flying behind her. Beautiful day for it, nearly got burnt to a crisp!

Spits are such elegant aircraft.

This shot reminds me that it is a machine, composed of panels etc.

The Spitfire is such a beautiful machine as you say. Those who fly it say that it becomes more of an extension of the body than a machine you fly though.

Re the Mustang - not at all, they were very different beasts and put to use in different roles quite rightly.
