I like the first one alot,

The second one I think is too dark, but I'm no expert.

Hi Dan, good pics, first is my fav, 2nd is a little dark for me also.
Kevin :)

Thank you, I did try and tweak the second shot to make it brighter as it was a little darker than that. any more and it looked a little false, which wasn't the impression I wanted to give. :)

I like sunset shots, the first one is very nice!

Your first one for me but it would be better with a straight horizon.

I have adjusted it and if you think it's not level I will take it down and give you an apology. (y)

lol I copied and pasted yours into photoshop and mine over the top, I take it you used the perspective tool or something similar?

It is a strange one, I think the mountain throws it out a little. :)

No, I opened your large file, then click View>show>grid.

It then overlays a grid and thats how I check for level/plumb lines on a shot.

Then to adjust I click Image>rotate canvas>arbitary then adjust it manually small amounts till the line of the shot (horizon in this case) is level with a grid line.

Hope you understand my workflow.

Here is the file before the crop. You can see how much it has been adjusted.

top tip, I've always used the ruler and dragged down to the horizon. thanx for the feedback. I will take this into account thank you very much :p

These are lovely, great silhouette in no.1

I like the sky in no.2, would maybe suggest cropping out a portion of the most dark area at the bottom of the frame

thank you guys! hope to get a few more like these while I'm here.
