Been going through a box of lenses, and found a high quality Chinese 420-800 zoom. 
M42 onto adapter onto the D5iii, and my usual test shot (not far to walk)
The yield sign is about 410' away and the wall about 60' behind that.
Certainly not high quality, soft round the edges etc, but for £60 better than I thought.
