The Swanage railway has a gala over this weekend, so we popped down on friday to check out what was going on, and must say if you can get down there try it, its superb for photos! An intense service is running down there, one out of each terminus about every 20 minutes, a very Southern feel down there, and also the castle ruins for when the trains are not running, anyways on to the photographs:
Standard 4 Tank 80104 runs out of Nordon heading towards Corfe Castle
Somerset and Dorset 7F 88 runs towards Corfe Castle, but could be anywhere
34028 Eddystone rubbles over the small bridge outside Corfe Castle, happy with this one apart from that bloody tree in the way!
34028 departs Corfe Castle
34070 Manston rolls past in the countryside just outside Nordon
Swanage only 80078 runs past on my final shot from this location just outside Nordon
Many more are on my Flickr, any feedback is most welcome and if you get the chance get down there and check it out!!
many thanks
Matt
