Interesting Chris! I like it a lot more after staring at it for a minute or more, but at first I couldn't work it out at all. I couldn't even make out the direction of the person lying down! (It seems weird now but it was true.) But having "got it", there's lots of nice things in the composition. Did you add some vignetting?

I have no clue about the location, other than guessing rows of benches for watching something!
