Covered some 'soft ball' last night in lovely light.

Here are a couple. Just like the faces on offer is all.

Bat and ball is tricky due to the speeds involved but happy enough. Shot into the light intentionally, trying out some effects at F2.8 and delighted with the back drop on the first image and the fact you can clearly read weapon on the bat....irony or what?!?!?!

I agree....that first one is just super.....worth trying to get them to use it for an advertising campaign? The guy in number 2 looks like he'd rather be somewhere else! Great expressions.

Thanks, AV mode, spot metered at 1/500 I think, ISO 400 or there abouts!

1st & last shots for me.

1# I love the golden highlights & the way the sun has rim-lit the guy...definately gives the pic a lovely summer evening feel which contrasts really nicely with the determined expression & the word 'weapon' on his bat!

The guy in the middle two shots has the laid back look of having already started on the beers.

The last guy ... that expression is priceless
He could have his own comedy show with a a gurner like that.
Gosh look at those lashes though ... enough to make a girl green with envy!
