Picture style is set on standard - neutral doesn't have enough contrast for my liking and the colours are far too washed out.
I use my rear focus button (standard setting is exposure lock) so I can use my shutter button for exposure lock only - this seperates focussing function and locking exposure, and once you get used to it is invaluable - I wonder how I ever worked with it before!

And that's it I think. Oh, I hardly ever use the screen either, I use the VF to see what my settings are and change them, and I try not to review my pictures constantly (to teach me to spend more time actually pre-shot, rather than the click and hope method) It worked fine with film so there's no reason it can't on digital.
