Stunning shots Kurt, that looks to be a sizable jumping spider, how big do these get to in your warm climate. Our native species only get to about 8 mm's at most.

Alby, #2 was shot at 1:1 on 40D i.e 22 mm frame width, so the leg span is easily 35 to 40mm i think. This one was the biggest I ever saw.
 
Got to love those metallic eyes. A 40mm jumper, that's some beastie! Stunning shots too:)
