Not every day was 36ºC in France last week. On this day, the weather decided to be grey and the light decided to be as flat as a fluke........ but was I deterred?..... never....

I made the most of the day and shot the church of Sainte-Radegonde and some carrelets and have now processed some of these in B&W

Very nice tones here, looks like you made good of the grim weather! I think I prefer the first, although I really like the cloud movement in the 2nd.

Thanks Gary. Pretty typical of my luck for that to happen with the weather in such an interesting location.

I found myself trying to "convert" the colours in front of me to black and white in my head and to look for interesting contrast in the scene. Bloody difficult and I'm not sure I succeeded but I gave it a go.

both great composition, think the first is lacking a bit of contrast, but nice conversions too.
