Tamrac Expedition 5X Backpack

Looking to get a Tamrac Expedition 5X Backpack but want to check if i would be able to get it on as hand luggage on a airline?
It feels quite a heavy pack when empty so would it go over max weight allowance when packed?

I've been on a few airlines when my hand luggage has been over the 5kg weight limit. As long as it doesnt look really heavy, you dont normally have it weighed

I just happen to have one sat next to my desk. The weight is obviously dependant upon what you put in it, but the depth of the bag is 28cm so probably a bit big to start with, but you'd be better off checking.

I had one 18months ago and took it onto Ryanair - fitted in their little luggage check thingy at checkin points - As far as I have read these are the worst people for carry-on luggage.... But like previous post's mention best to check.. I'm sure that the airlines give size's for carry-on luggage anyway dont they on their sites :shrug:
