Tamron 15-30mm f2.8 full frame wide angle lens

Interesting, as Nikon just announced a new 20mm 1.8G - good times for WA lovers.

Interesting indeed... make an promising alternative to something like the Samyang 14mm f/2.8 and 9 blades should produce far nicer bokeh if you're shooting for that. VC seems a bit of an odd addon (given it's presumably going to be off much of the time) but it does open up handholding opportunities, I guess.

I see it's going to be available in Sony mount... hmmm - that A7r is looking more and more tempting ;)

non-removable lens hood? No thanks then. It may still steal a few Nikon 14-24 customers and those on Canon, but more likely will compete with Tokina 16-28. Sigma - your turn before I bought the new 16-35mm f/4L IS.

bokeh at 14mm?! Did you mean sunstars instead?

he probably did mean bokeh, as the 9 blades would generally render round highlight bokeh. but yes at 14mm bokeh is not really the strength of these lens
