Just had to put my fav lens into the shop to be looked at. When at 17 - 20mm it really does not sound healthy when hunting for focus. I can only describe it as a high pitched squealing sound, but if I extend the barrel a little, say to 35mm onwards not a sound, runs as it should. I can only wait now to see what the verdict is at LCE :shake:
