I'm seriously tempted by a Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8 but am put off by the cost and weight. Is the Tamron 28-70 a good option? I want to use it for children's portraits outside so need it to be good at autofocusing on moving targets. Some reviews suggest it can struggle with this so I'd be interested in anyone's experiences of it.
