Is this lens worth £199? I do take alot of family photos so was wondering would it be better to just get 50mm 1.8 or get this as its f2 and 1:1 macro.
I take alot of photographs of the family, especially around christmas.
Also I am off to holland in the first week of october visiting an Airforce base so would have wanted to use it there.
I have never shot macro but if I had it, I would'nt not take any macro shots.
My current setup is 1000d with a siggy 24-70 f2.8..
