Hi folks,

An opp. has come up for me to get my hands on a 1d Mk II however I do not want to upgrade due to my lenses.

I currently have a Canon 70-200 f2.8 which ofcourse is EF, however the other lenses I have are EF-S, or so I believe. I know the 18-55 is EFS however I am not too concerned about that, however I have a Tamron 28-105 and 70-300. The Tamron 70-300 will never get used again as I have the L series now, however I am curious to know if the 28-105 will work on the 1D Mk 2.

The 28-105 is pretty soft however until I can afford a 17-40 L I need to have this lens as my under 70mm - No point in upgrading to a 1D Mk 2 if I can only use one lens.

I can not find out if it is EF or EF-S - Can anyone help?

Information:

Tamron AF28-105mm f/4-5.6 (IF) Model: 179DE

Any help is great. Thanks.

I *think* only Canon do the EF-S mount and as the lens spec mentions film I'd guess that it's for full frame use :)
