Anybody use one in low light? Looking at the Sigma 24-70 f2.8 and this may be an option?
Thanks

I have both lenses and I find the Tamron to be the better of the two in all conditions, including low light. Rob

Again, I haven't tried the Sigma, but the Tamron is a gem, IMHO. I focuses just fine in low light (albeit noisily) and mine is fiercely sharp at everything past f/4. Even when I had the money for the Nikkor 24-70mm, I decided to spend it on something else, as this Tamron is as good a mid-range zoom as I'll ever need .

Can't recommend it highly enough .

Hi,

I have the Tamron 28-75 and it's a cracker of a lens for it's price point.

Go for the Tamron!!!

Mike.
