Captured at Shawford yesterday morning en route from Poole to London. Sadly the whites are a bit blown as a lot of glare.

I think the blown highlights in the smoke work well on the B&W version, gives it a real vintage feel.

The armchair trainspotter in me is saying I don't really mind those shots at all. It shows the engine being hard at work, could effectively hear and smell the steam coming out of her.
Also, that collection of photos is making me want to write a letter to Network Rail (or a preservation society) about re-opening the Folkestone Harbour branch line so that steam specials can go down and up it once again!
