tele converter 1.4 question

A quick question, i wish to buy a tele converter for my tamron 70-300mm, can anyone please give me a bit of advice on which one to purchase, im looking at the Kenko 1.4x Teleplus Pro 300 DG from one stop digital would this be suitable?

I have heard that the Kenko pro is great with the Tamron lenses.

It will work, but dont expect the highest quality or AF ability from using it with your lens.
