If it's an astronomical telescope you'll need a T-adaptor which is specific to the telescope and a T-ring which is specific to your camera.
The T-adaptor screws onto the telescope (usually) in place of the eyepiece, and couples onto the T-ring which takes the place of your camera's lens.
