Tethered shooting with d90

can anyone recommend a program and or way to shoot tethered ?? :thinking:


I am taking some portraits of friends children and want to be able to veiw the pics as I take them

would like to avoid cost of a program if i can as not being paid

Which operating system and what editing software do you already have?
 
Lightroom will do it, 14 day free trial if you don't own it. But images will only be saved to the computer (which also seems to be the case with other decent software).

However, DIY PhotoBits Camera Control, will allow you to display the images on the screen, and they'll be saved to both the PC and camera card. If you shoot raw, set it to raw + basic jpeg, as CC doesn't display raw. I don't think CC allows for picture rotation, which is a bit weird if shooting in portrait.
