There are some nice people in this organization! I dont know if this is in the correct forum to say this, but I recently posted a question about my D50 versus either a Nikon D80 or 70-300VR lens. Although I received a lot of very welcome advise, two members went beyond just offering opinions. One member who I will not name as he went to PM so presumably does not wish this to be known publicly, offered to sell me a 70-300 but as he knew I did not have enough cash yet said he would keep it for me, which I had to regretfully decline ( the only reason I might have been able to get a D80 was because I would have been able to part-exchange my D50) and Tom, who advised me to keep the D50 without telling me he had a D80 for sale. How easy it would have been for him to say sell your D50 and buy a D80, but he was honest to his own detriment. Thanks again Guys, and I hope you are both able to sell your gear.
