That lynx effect - Dunmail 31st July

Hi all.

Having spotted a weather window for yesterday decided to head for Dunmail rather than Wales (having seen the pics from the Bwlch - wrong decision!) arrived around 9am for a pretty slow grey day but a couple of firsts for me.

First up the anniversary Hawk.

Then a very weird experience, an Army Lynx. He flew past, obviously saw us, then turned and came back for a photoshoot! My deodorant must be up to scratch .

And last but not least this little gem, MC-130 Talon.

Here's a couple from my last trip to Wales catching a RIAT departure - Tornado F3 special tail and a red low-level.

I am in Wales in a couple of Weeks taking the Parents on a weeks hol. So trying to find a place I can go easily in the car as they are getting on a bit ( Thats my excuse ) ;-)

I will be driving North so I may be able to do the Lakes
