Hi,
I think the location has potential for sure. For me the composition needs a stronger focal point - the stream that disappears off to the back of the frame looks ideal as it leads the viewer into the woods, the water cutting across the bottom of the frame I think is slightly distracting. Maybe needs a little more contrast or ideally early morning/late evening sun to add some warmth to the scene
