definitely a good mushroom, slightly distracting bright bits in the background need knobbling to make it shine. As it is you are distracted by them.

Thanks - if it was a good image I would have done some pp-ing, but this is just to prove that a 3mg ancient camera still works!
I've now upgraded to a 4mg coolpix 4500!

Lovely shot and great colours I like the little skirt on the stem your lucky you got to it before the flies well taken.

That's one of the best shots I've seen of fungi on here.

I think Paul is right, just clone out the very bright background highlights, and maybe the leaf at the very bottom of the image.
